Infection control policy

Please see below for our Infection Control Policy. This provides some information about the measures we are taking to ensure the safety of your and our team.

INFECTION CONTROL POLICY

O

Our clinic and strict procedures have been set-up to keep you and our team safe and fully meet the guidelines set up by the Government and the UK Health Security Agency. A copy of our current Infection Prevention and Control Risk Assessment can be requested by email support@remedihealth.co

We have introduced the following measures to support social distancing and infection control:

  1. Unless you have set up your appointment with family members, or you have special requirements that you have pre-notified us about, you will be asked to attend your appointment alone
  2. Please keep the number of bags and coats you bring to a minimum
  3. When you arrive at the clinic, please enter the main reception area and sanitise your hands using the unit on the reception desk. If you have a face covering, please wear this on entry. If you do not have a face-covering, then we will provide you with a surgical mask
  4. The reception area touch points and surfaces are sanitised three times a day
  5. Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time
  6. Please inform the reception team and clinician if you have any potential COVID-19 or other infectious condition symptoms
  7. You will be asked a number of questions before attending your appointment to minimise the amount of time spent in the clinic
  8. We may need to ask you to complete a form, using a pen that is unique to you and you can keep
  9. On entry into the clinic room, please avoid touching any surfaces and wash your hands in warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds at the sink and dry your hands with disposable towels and place in the clinical waste bin. Alternatively use the sanitizer provided.
  10. Your clinician will wear a Grade IIR surgical mask, a visor, gloves and, for some appointments, a disposable apron
  11. We will perform the test, with your results ready within ten minutes, during which time we will maintain 1m+ minimum distance
  12. The room will be fully cleaned and ventilated between clients
  13. Please use the alcohol hand gel after your appointment and leave the clinic as soon as possible after your appointment
